A local walk today around Ogden Water and Ovenden Moor. The weather was horrendous, with wind and lots of rain, but I enjoyed it. I gave the trig point on Nab Hill a miss as the ground was saturated. I was grateful for the walk through Great Scar at the end as it was the first time I'd had any shelter from the weather. 7 miles in total and it's one I'd be happy to do again, in better weather hopefully next time.
Halifax Golf Club - people were playing despite the bad weather
Warley Moor Reservoir as the cloud (and rain) rolls in. Nobody sailing today!

Saturated Hambleton Lane, my least favourite part of the walk

Into Great Scar and shelter from the elements at last
Stiles come in all shapes and sizes, first one of these I've seen though. Took me a few seconds to work out what to do with it!
